anyone have a good pattern for those really long "elf" hats? you know, the ones that are just basic pointy hats but hang down to your butt?
i want to make them for all the kids for next winter but since it would be around 7 of them i have to get started now?
i'm a very very beginner so i would have no Clue as to adjust a regular hat.
thanks!

Re: Long Caps
01/10I started making these as a beginner by making the hat starting circle from any pattern and then increasing(doing two stiches in one hole) only once or twice each time around. I t has worked for me but as I am dyslexic and can't read patterns I am used to fudging things along.
Once you get the length you want you can add more stiches each go round to get the head size right. And don't be afraid to take it apart and start over once you get the idea. -
