  Welcome, I just learned how to knit, been crocheting for years (still can't read a pattern)
  I do enjoy both, but the more I learn the more I realize just how much I have to still learn

    I am lucky enough to have a mentor.
    She just dropped off a knitting DVD and a crochet book that has a bunch of little girls crocheting

      Hey P!
      Glad to see you. Crocheting is fun but some of the directions are the pits. If you are doing toys, then that may be easier-there are tons of directions for them on the web. Good luck.
