  If you can find a pattern, do pass it along-- I was telling friends how fun it would be to wear my own crocheted legwarmers at my first Burning Man this summer. They would be special because I made them, and they would be functional! Maybe I'll google it as see what I come up with. If I find anything, I'll get back to you here.

  Waaaaaiiiit...aren't leg warmers without a heel by default? The ones I wore as a kid in the '80's were just tubes.

    These are so you can get good heel contact while dancing. Several of the Students in my dance class wears them. They always have go contact with the floor without giving up the warmth.

    No, this is a leg warmer that goes over the heel of your foot and sit in the arch of your foot. If there is a sock pattern that can been adapted, let me know.

      I would just use a sock pattern and leave off the heal and the toe.
