  I don't have a pattern, but I "fake" my way through stuff like that. You can make a regular hat, make triangles for ears, and crochet them onto the hat. For floppy ears, crochet them on with the base of the ear in a straight line, but for ears which stand up a bit, crochet them to the hat with the base of the ear bent on an angle, encouraging the ear to stand. The shorter the ear, the more lift you will get out of the bend.

    Ahh if only I was that good. I'm still a beginner and to terrified to 'fake' my way through anything!

  I found a free hat with ears pattern on the Lion Brand yarn site. it's called "Ear Flap Hat". Try this link: cache.lionbrand.com/patterns...pHat.html
  You have to register on the site (free) to get access to the patterns, but there's an ear flap hat pattern there.

    maybe i should have been more clear in my original post... i mean hats similar to that, but also with little bear type ears on top.

      This is the closest thing I could find. It has kitty ears, but you might be able to work with that.

      Yes, she just came out with the Happy Hooker. It is pretty good there are a lot of fun patterns in it. I can't remember if it has an adult hat with ears or not.
      
      Sorry I brain farted last night when I left my other post. I wasn't thinking that it was a knit book. I like to look at all books to get inspiration. You could always try to change the pattern to crochet.

      The one in Stitch and Bitch NAtion was for a kid and happy hooker does not have one, sorry. But I will start working on a pattern that has ears, don't hold your breath though it sometimes takes me quite a while to finish it.
