I was just wondering what everyone is working on? It's getting quiet in here! Me personally I have a couple things in the process of being finished. A messenger bag, baby blanket and, some granny squares (not sure what I'm gonna do with them yet though)

Mon, August 24, 2009 - 9:03 PMI'm finishing up a baby bib I crocheted from recycled tee-shirts cut into thin strips. I then pull on the strips which cause the strips to curl. This creates a circular type yarn that you can craft with. I call it t-yarn or tarn. I've made a hotpad from the t-yarn too. I'm also working on a large rug that I am crocheting from plastic. It's made from bread bags, plastic wrap like from paper towels, hamburger buns, toilet paper packaging and anything else I can get my hands on. -

Wed, September 16, 2009 - 8:21 PMI've been making fingerless gloves since last year - striped by alternating fuzzy yarn with chenille. Pics will be up in the coming months. The idea came to mind when the whole financial crisis really got going, 'cause nothing says "Great Depression 2.0 style" like fingerless gloves. I'm thinking of naming it "hobo chic."

Wed, September 23, 2009 - 10:50 AMfinishing up an alpaca scarf. I adapted the pattern from a filet crochet lace edging pattern, and added scallops on both sides. Only a few more inches to go. :D
